Under the guidance of the Club's Cadet Officer, Jo Taylor, the younger members of the Club have great fun on and off the water, and play an active part down at the Gunfleet.
The main fleets for Cadets and Otters are the Topper for single-handed sailing (currently 10 in the fleet), the Hobie 405 for double-handed sailing, and the Topaz for beginners and training. The Club owns two Toppers and two Topazes, which compliment the dinghies privately owned by Cadets and Otters themselves. Gunfleet is the place to be for under 18s who would like to get into sailing.
