THE WEDNESDAY EVENING SUMMER SERIES CONTINUES - This Wednesday 2 July the second race in the Summer Series starts at 7:00 p.m., and let's not forget the delicious bacon baps that follow, plus the bar is open.  Then, on Sunday 6 July it's the third of our 3-in-1 races, this time for the Tee Dee Challenge Trophy; first race is at 11:00 a.m.

Not long before Gunfleet holds its Regatta Day on Sunday 13 July - Three races, one in the morning, a break for lunch, another race straight after, and then class racing for Catamarans, Toppers, Comets, Solos & Europes, Lasers, RS Aeros, and a Menagerie fleet.  Separate starts, separate courses, and separate trophies.  And then it's Prizegiving time; a chance to take some silverware home!

Yet another scorcher of a day at Gunfleet Sailing Club on Sunday 29 June 2025 meant a good turnout of dinghies for the Personal PY Trophy race; a race that provides a unique handicap to everyone’s boat, based on the helm’s performance in the previous races since the start of the season.

Brian Brings Home The Bacon

Gunfleet Sailing Club’s Wednesday evenings continued on 25 June 2025 with the first race in the Summer Series.  A fresh force four, touching five, south-easterly breeze greeted the sailors who rigged-up accordingly, but as the minutes ticked away so the wind strength began to drop and by the time the race got underway the wind had fallen to force three.
