A FAST BOAT & SLOW BOAT RACE NEXT SUNDAY the Wednesday evening Tony Chadd Series continues

This Wednesday evening sees more midweek sailing down at Gunfleet when we hold the fourth race in the series for the Tony Chadd Trophy, starting at 7:00 p.m.  And remember that, following the sailing, there will be bacon baguettes on sale.....mmmmmmm delicious, plus the bar will be open.

Then, on Sunday, there are two races.  The first, at 11:00 a.m. is for the London Trophy and includes all dinghies with a PY of 1189 and faster, whilst at 11:10 a.m. it the race for craft with a PY of 1190 or slower, for the Potterers Pot.

There is just so much going on down at the Gunfleet.

Latest Reports

Gunfleet Sailing Club’s race for the Bill Geddes, Trophy, on Sunday 22 May, saw sixteen dinghies taking part and, after an hour and a half on the water, it was Andy Cornforth that claimed victory in his Laser.

Following two Wednesday evenings of no sailing, due firstly to no wind, and secondly to too much, but like all good Goldilock stories this Wednesday, 18 May, was just right for Gunfleet Sailing Club to hold its race in the Tony Chadd Series.
