WEDNESDAY EVENING SAILING START THIS WEEK:  Yes it's the start of Wednesday evening sailing on 6 May 2026, with 14 weeks of being on the water midweek.  And just to add to the fun we have bacon baps on sale and the bar will be open .  So even if you are not venturing on the water, come down to the Club and enjoy watching the boats afloat.  Then, on Sunday 10 May it's our first 3 in 1 events with three short back to back races and all three results counting towards the overall positions. 

Wow - Gunfleet is certainly where it all happens, if you are a dinghy sailor!

Busy Bank Holiday At Gunfleet

Gunfleet Sailing Club had a busy two days of racing over the May Bank Holiday, 3 & 4 May 2026, with the Coronation Trophy event kicking things off.  In a force 3 south/south-westerly breeze the helms hovered around the line, carefully holding the craft back as the flood tide edged them forward.  With almost perfect timing, as the class flag dropped from the yardarm, the tight bunch was unleashed.
