THE WEDNESDAY EVENING SAILING STARTS - This Wednesday 7 May the Gunfleet starts its fourteen weeks of evening sailing with the first race of the Tony Chadd Series.  And when everyone's back on shore it's time for a bacon bap and a drink - a perfect way to break the week up.  Then, on Sunday 11 May we have the first 3 in 1 race, this time for the Wallet Trophy; three short back to back races with each race counting towards the overall placings.  Plus, for the Cadet Toppers, it's the first race in the Spirit of the Wind Series.

THE COMETS ARE COMING

........2025 National Championships heading to Gunfleet

We are both pleased and excited to announce that the Comet National Championships will be hosted by Gunfleet Sailing Club on the 6th to the 8th June.  A warm welcome awaits all the visitors, joining our own Comet fleet, to have three days of great sailing at Holland on Sea.

Testing Conditions For Coronation Trophy

The elements appeared to be anything but kind to the members of Gunfleet Sailing Club on Sunday 4 May 2025 when they took part in the race for the Coronation Trophy.  A chilly northerly wind faced the competitors as they rigged up their boats, coupled with a grey and overcast sky; gust shadows blowing across the water.
